Cannot load Facebook apps?

Cannot load Facebook apps?
I am using my laptop and cannot get any Facebook apps to load. When I click one on, the computer goes into a continuous loop of trying to load the app and showing the login screen.

I am using an HP laptop running Vista home premium. All Java, shockwave, flash are up to date. I have tinkered with privacy settings and added FB as a trusted site. Any suggestions?
