ipod 8g touch app trouble HELP!!!!!1?
i have a ipod touch 8g and i cant install the facebook app because it says i need the iphone 3.0 update but on itunes it only has 3.1 and u have to pay for it.is it any way i can get it free???? THANK YOU

No you can't get it for free. Just jailbreak your ipod touch like any normal person.

download the firmware here and when you click update in itunes, hold down shift, or maybe its ctrl, idk but you can find out. then just find the firmware you downloaded and taDAAAAA!!!! |

The facebook app requires AT LEAST the 3.0 so the 3.1 will do the trick. If your iPod Touch is the 3rd generation, it's free. If it's a previous generation, you'll have to pay for the update.

you can download the update for 3.1. here is the link: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ . you can then select the ipod you have, and then select the firmware you want.
