what is a hippie festival?
hello.
i was on twitter earlier and i came across this account and they were posting pictures of people sitting on the ground, and it looked to me like they were at a concert. the people in the picture were wearing hippie like clothes and the caption was "wow i cant wait to go to festivals this summer!" what is a festival? and have you been to one? is it fun?

A prime example might be Woodstock, consisting of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, perhaps with a little anti-war demonstrating thrown in.

Hippie festivals started in the 60 s. Thousands of hippies met up and listened to music, smoked pot, sold stuff and generally had a great time expressing 'Peace and Love' man.
They were good times sadly never to come again.
