is online school better for people who don't learn the same?
I want to take online classes for 9th grade and go to school 10-12
reasons I don't want to go:
when teachers try to explain it makes it harder than it already is
I don't learn the same
I feel safer at home
don't get anything in school and I try really hard (I am not a slacker)
tests are hard around other people even though it quiet
don't like dress code
I'm alittle bit insecure around people which makes it hard to act laid back and concentrated
the only way I want to go to school is if 1 online school is harder for me, 2 I move out of the us because most abroad schools and atmospheres are better, 3. I have no choice but to go

Online courses take a *lot* of self-discipline. There is no teacher there. If you don't understand something, well, it's up to you to read the textbook more or somehow do other research. Often times online classes do have a student forum where students can discuss homework questions and concepts though, kind of like a study group.

Online courses?
It's basically *all you*.

You have to have the self-discipline to fire up your computer, get on the internet, check your assignments, and *do* the assignments, and make sure you submit them on time.

Many, many students who attempt online courses find themselves surfing the web instead of getting their coursework done *first*. Sure, they might go to the school website first thing, but next thing you know they have a tab open for Facebook, youTube, Yahoo Answers, a video game going, etc.

Do you think you have the self-discipline to do your coursework first and not be distracted by other websites?
