If I block a person if Facebook, will tags in comments go away?

I recently had an issue where a Facebook friend of mine was tagging me in some of his rude comments in others' posts. Everyone could click on my name in his post to see exactly who he was talking to, and I don't want that. At all. Will blocking him remove those tags? It's fine if the link just goes away, but my name stays there.

If there is a way I can untag myself from his comment, how would I do so? I know how to do it on pictures. Is there a way to do it on comments too?

the person you block wont be able to see the tag, but everyone else will still be able to see the tag and click on it

just remove the tags to solve the problem
