Facebook profile viewing?

How come on my facebook profile I can view peoples profiles who are not Private but on my sisters and mothers can't view the same people. They don't know the people I have tried to look at on their accounts, and this has always been the same so they haven't been blocked. I have checked all settings but on their facebook can barely view anyones profiles???
We are all in the newcastle network, and the people we are looking at are not friends with any of us, are not private, yet only I can see their profiles

The way Facebook works is you have to a)be friends with someone or b) be in the same network as them in order to see their profile. There isn't an option to make your profile public to everyone. So you can't see your friends' profiles when you're signed in as your mom or sister because they aren't friends with them. It is also possible for people to change their security settings so sometimes even people in the same network as you can make their profile private.

So if you want to see certain people's profiles your best bet is to add them as a friend.

that's because they probably have their settings on certain people who can view their profiles that's all
