Spotify won't let me log in?

I'm trying to download spotify on my school computer in my programming shop, and i should be able to download it as long as i can log in. but i can't. i've previously logged in with Facebook but FB is blocked on this network so i try manually logging in with email but is says that the @ symbol is forbidden. then when i try without the @ it says it's wrong and to log in with my email. ??? anything i can do? I really want to listen to my playlist while working.

Try logging in with your username and not your email.

You can always use their web player too and not use the downloadable software. It works pretty good.
