Bartenders, how do I draw in a crowd?
I've been bartending at a slow restaurant lately and going into the club scene. The owner owns both venues and I hear bartenders get their "followers". I start the club soon and was wondering how I can start up building my crowd meeting new clients? How do i meet them and have them as regulars wherever I work?

Start by being awesome...be personable and funny while also making sure everyone is taking care of in a timely manner. If you have a social media page (facebook), start posting when you're working, encouraging people to come out and any speicals going on that night. Make it sound like it's going to be the best time ever...tag the place your going to be and make the post public. When you go out on your own time to bars/clubs, continue being personable and when you meet new people tell them where you work and it'd be great to see them there.

Promote Market..it's simple just as long as you know what to do and not do and in what ways to promote it and allllll that.

start by getting your regulars where you are now to go there at least once and then they'll come back. Um...I would say you get followers after working there and having the get to know you...but each person is gonna be drawn to a certain one based on how well they click in general, but best thing that each bartender needs to do and ppl will go to them for that alone (then you engage in convo's..etc ill get there later) is KNOW HOW TO MAKE DRINKS CORRECTLY, FAST, MULTIPLE ORDERS QUICKLY...WITHOUT BEING OVERWHELMED OR FLIRTING BC THAT WASTES TIME! Guys are better at that then girls..generally speaking...so quicker you make drinks and get em out ppl will come for that to you not the other bartender next to you. From there...with guys...idk act like they are your friends..don't talk too much...if they are going thru girl shit YOU ARE TOO! lol...make it where you understand him and just talk however yall talk lol. GIRLS: do NOT come on too strong! when asking orders..act like you cant hear a damn thing in the place so make them lean in to REPEAT their order=you get closer they feel like you give a shit...trust me! when talking to girls...lean in more but not in a creepy way...with guys..idk treat them like ur frnds lol. Get to know them...ask them questions...tell them about working there...get to know people..don't over do it or get too personal just like someone they feel comfortable around able to flirt with or just chill with...and get their drinks done quick! Make an effort! Its all about how you connect with people and each person is different so pay attention to that!

But before it...I mean take pics of the bar...inside the place...GOOD PICS FROM GOOD ANGLES...post it on fb?? quickest fastest way! Tag people on that picture write up a brief thing about the place make it seem like its the greatest thing on this planet...and to come see you! Stuff like that! And update pics every few days of diff things (ex: one pic can be the bar, 4 days later the lounge type area...then another day another area..then the outside..just things like that but make the first one the BIG ad! the rest ppl will know what it is...just write brief sentence on it...and they will keep that in mind! If yall are still hiring be sure to mention that!!!!

Make friends with ur coworkers BEFORE hand...talk to them about it and discuss diff ideas...and they'll help! good luck
