Hiding posts on facebook...?

Can u hide life events from certain people on facebook so that only the people u want to see could only see; for instance, if i was to add a life event that i got married and i only wanted certain people to see?

Yes, on the privacy settings. You can control who can see your posts. It falls under the 'custom'.
Go to privacy settings or you can edit that right before you post something.

Yes you Can When you Go to Post it you Will see a People Box Click on it than Change the Privacy Setting click on Customize than Add the People to the Restricted List

If you Already posted it Than Just Go Back to the Event and Edit it
