I have a gay friend who's disowned, and homeless, and may DIE..... can anyone help me with this?
My friend is 16 and in high school. He lives in a town by the name of Crivitz, Wisconsin--a distance from Green Bay--and his family recently disowned him by kicking him out his house, and he's now homeless.

He told me it's been 3 days (counting today, the 23rd) since they disowned him, and he has nowhere to go. There's no shelters, boarding houses, no nothing. He can't even leave town, because a homophobic police officer was hired to watch his every move, and the cop happens to dislike him.

My friend also, while sleeping on a park bench, got stabbed in the ribs and leg a number of times. He told me since he has no insurance and no money at all, he couldn't go to the hospital so he was lying there in a coma and almost died, but he woke up. Now he has pain in his leg.

He has school Monday, but he has no money to buy lunch with and he said he doesn't wanna go back for fear of being teased.
So he told me he's considering dropping out.

Also, for the 3 days, he's slept basically in the street. He has no money, he's hungry, tired and unhappy.
He also said no jobs will hire him in Crivitz, due to the fact that he's overweight and everyone rolls their eyes and talks crap about him.

He also told me a teacher from his school knows his situation and she told him there's a place one block from where he is now, but he can't get in there until the morning, and until then he's still out on the street in the cold.

He also told me when he called 9-1-1 and told them his living situation: "The dispatcher knows my number and when they answer they say someones on their way. But I wait about 5 hours and no one ever shows up."

So now my friend--who has romantic feelings for me--is out on the street, disowned by his parents. Is there anyone who could help him?
He has a Facebook page (I told him reach out to his Facebook people for help) but according to him, " Most of my friends on my facebook are family, and my family isn't talking to me and the other people just wont talk to me because they don't want to get involved."

So what can my friend do? He's also been very depressed because of this. I've given him 6 or 7 ideas but he said basically they either don't work, revolve around his family who don't care about him now, or are impossible.
It's not even MY story. I was TOLD all this.... I don't live in Wisconsin, I am helping out my friend who lives there.
Also, if I WAS creative writing, it would actually BE a story, which this is not, this is truth.

Parents aren't allowed to abandon their children before they're 18. They can be charged for neglect.

First, this is complete BS.

For example, the hospitals would not refuse him. They can't. It does not matter if he has insurance or not, emergency rooms cannot refuse anyone.

There are homeless shelters he could go to.

The police won't be able to stop him from leaving.

Etc.

Since your story is a complete lie, tell him to light himself on fire. His bonfire will bring warmth to the neighborhood.

None of this sounds true at all - you just started and spun this total bullshit.

Got stabbed, went into a coma on a park bench, woke up, went to school - please don't try your hand at creative writing. Your rubbish at it.

EDIT SO how does someone get stabbed twice, go into a coma and then go to school. If your not lying your really gullible. Think about it dude - its impossible.

Well your friend's story seems odd and I highly doubt this is true based off a few things. First off parents can not kick a child out by law if they are under eighteen. Second a cop can not force anyone to stay in town and the cop by law would have to return your friend to his parents. Third off an ER can not refuse treatment to person regardless of if they can pay or not. Fourth off it seems odd he would 911 about being homeless but not for being stabbed. Fifth off most employers don't care about one being overweight see as quite a bit of americans are. Sixth off the teacher by law would have to report your friend's parent for child abuse and then your friend would be take into either police or child welfare care. Seventh people in coma normally don't come thur on there own with out medical help. One or two possible three things out of place and the story might be able to pass as true. But seven things is just not even considerable.
