How can I gain lots of followers on Twitter, fast?

i have the same problem i just got twitter (@mara_swag) the only thing you can do is promote your self. And remember....

Follow people with the same interests as you and engage them in conversation. But quantity is not necessarily quality.

1) You choose a topic to tweet about. Mine is quotes to live by and the music I like
(People who like your ideas will follow you)

2) Advertise your account whenever possible like I just did and offer a follow back

Like you I'm new to twitter and so need a bit of help getting started, if you tweet to a celebrity and somehow convince them to follow you you'll get a hell of alot of followers. (I've never done it so I can't guarantee it works)

3) Follow your close friends, they'll follow you back for sure

4) Connect ALL your accounts to twitter.

That could be harder if you are only doing twitter for fun. That is because The main thing that attracts and captivates the other Twitter followers and keep them stick to your tweets is the topic that you have selected. The body of the tweet message must be interesting and popular. You should find the tweets that are mostly being followed. This would help you know how to design that of yours. Finding more Twitter followers would become easier if you are constant and appealing at the same time. Select those members that sound to be relevant to you and there are chances that they would like your tweets.
