Complaints on criminal records?

So someone posted something inappropriate on a social media site called meetme when they were younger, the cops came and said there was a complaint and they were investagating, they called us back and said new time the person would be in big trouble. so is this on such person criminal record and going to stop them from getting like a job as a educator in the next 6-7 years?
