How come i have many friends on facebook and i don't get likes on my statuses? :O?

Hey there so i saw many how have facebook friends and get so many likes i means i have about 1,500 friends on facebook and i don't get likes at ALL! Even when i say "like if you agree' or "like if you're ____"
really! And i alyaws post something funny and intersting
my friend has about 900 friend that HE TOTALLY DONT KNOW! AND HE GET'S 20+ ON HIS STATUSES! even thought he don't post intersting statuses just like "Gd morning " and i think the friend that i really know are about 200 friends and him only 100 friends that he really knows

btw i'm blocked from adding friends for 30 days so adding more friends won't work

I got under 100 friends yet everything i post gets multiple likes, it's a matter of who you add and your relationship with them, if you add a bunch of delinquents then talk about studying, you won't get any response.

Also, if you never talk to these people on facebook and establish a good online friendship with them, they probably won't even look at what you post.

Because Facebook is lame.
Try going out and talking to your real friends and having them "like" you face-to-face instead of worrying about what 1,500 people who don't even know you think about some inane, inocuous crap you write about yourself on some stupid website.

If I had you as a friend on fb and you kept posting "like if" rubbish...Id get rid of you. Really you are lucky thats not happening instead.

Adding something like " Like if you are _____" is really annoying.
Even if I find something interesting but the poster have added " Like if you agree or like if you are ___ ", then i totally avoid that post and even delete from my profile. So just post and never worry about likes. Having a true friend in real life is lot better than having 1000 likes on facebook. So dn't worry about facebook.

I think it also happens that if you never talk to the people, or make any contact with them or comments on them, you don't see each others status updates anymore...I have a few hundred friends but facebook shows me only status updates from people I talk to somehow. And the people who 'like' my statuses are also usually people I talk to.
