why is facebook is slow?

SO many people use it nowadays that the servers have become overcrowded and the facebook staff possibly don't have the time or money right now to set-up better ones. I honestly miss the old facebook.

EDIT - Yes i know that they make a lot of money, but they also spend that on huge bandwidth bills. And notice how i said POSSIBLY.

@Gil hmmm... Facebook doesnt have money to upgrade its servers? Sure, they only generate nearly $2billion dollars in revenue each year. LOL When the site runs slow or becomes completely unresponsive, they lose significant amounts of money so if it was just a matter of "crowded" servers, they would extend their capabilities very quickly. Since their primary source of revenue is advertisements, I am sure it is their primary goal to stay ahead of demand to ensure maximum up time.

Its more likely they are being attacked by Russia... haters.

I asked the same thing yesterday. My facebook has been extremely slow the last 4 days. The games and all the apps are running fine...but when I try to read the newsfeeds it kinda freezes. It's driving me nuts!! Hope is gets fixed soon...sorry you're having the same problem.
