Getting popular at twitter, some suggestion?

So my goal is to get a lot of followers in twitter, I even want to follow my idol someday, I really don't know where to start, since I made account I have no follower, it wonders me if I even look good
You also have to make interesting tweet.

Can someone tell me step by step of getting popular?
I'm 17 btw.

you should start by following your favorite celebrities and tweeting them. Also, follow people with the same interests as you. Interact with different people and ask them to follow you back. It takes some time to get used to twitter, but after a while you will get addicted! good luck!

Have diverse interests, follow up on that related knowledge and get others excited about what excites you!
Also, doing some investigative journalism never hurts (as opposed to recycling news from other sources).
