Okay so here it goes.. Some of me wants to just forget it and move on and a part of me well wants to go for it. I went to grade school and so on with this guy. I know his family, and his brother and sister and as far and I remember they all liked me. He is in a band, and he has been married and has two kids. which I like kids and that doesn't bug me. I don't know what is stopping me, I feel like something is wrong that I am interested in dating this guy and I am not sure what it is. All my friends tell me to go for it and I don't know why I am so hesitate to pursue this. Any advice? I was going to send him a message on facebook since he is one of my friends but I don't know what to say. Thanks!

Just send him a message saying you haven't heard from him in a while and that you want to catch up. Ask him how he is doing and tell him that you feel like the two of you should hang out again sometime.
