Forever if they want,it's their site and no one has a right to use it without them giving the ok.If they are unhappy with someone for whatever reason they can ban you.

Usually its only 24 hours But Since its Been 2 Days i Would Contact Instagram And Let Them Know that you Are Still Blocked

Make Sure you have the Latest instagram Version Installed on your Phone
