Facebook's Chief Security Officer Joe Sullivan, is promoting the company's new "bug bounty program," which pays researchers to report security flaws in the social-networking site of more than 750 million active users.
Facebook will pay a minimum of $500 for valuable information so long as the hacker agrees to not disclose the flaw until the company has fixed it.

However, this was in 2011 so even if the bounty program still runs, I highly doubt you could hack it because they probably already fixed just about every security gap.

yes, Facebook will pay you if you could find a bug in their system. I have also heard that Facebook did not paid many people who have reported bug in their system.
once you report a bug, it is for facebook to decide that if it is a bug worth paying. The call is theirs. So, you don't get paid every time you report a bug.
