Walking Timelapse, is it a good idea?
Hey guys,

I'm thinking of going to Hong Kong in the summer, and I really want to do a couple of timelapse videos. For example, I will most definitely attempt a day to night from Victoria Harbour.

I also want to try a hyperlapse, but in the busy market streets, it won't be feasible to put up a tripod and move it a couple of inches for every shot. I mean, that would just piss off just about every local.

So I was wondering if it would be a good idea to have my camera on a monopod (for better stability) and walk around with that to take my timelapse shots?

Lastly, I'm looking to buy a GoPro, and rent a bike and do a timelapse that way, again: good idea or no?

Any advice on this matter would be most helpful

You had better make practice runs before you go. For time lapse etc. the bike ride needs to be as smooth as possible or it will look the the camera was bouncing in the back of the truck with the potatoes. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=642285192504620
