Why do I feel so empty and left out everytime I'm on Social media?
Eg. On twitter I've got a few followers and I'd see people interacting w/ each other their friends. I just tweet no1 says a thing a few I've met w/ a few of my followers like this 1 we saw each other at a tournament spoke but that was it I don't wanna greet him cause it will be as if I want something from him. Last week I didn't have my phone my life was so peaceful felt good about myself and sometimes I regret having this phone nothing fancy its a blackberry 9380. I've got no friends on bbm, a few classmates on what's app maybe 8 contacts in total. Is this Normal?
Thanks

Social media isn't that great as it is portrayed these days. Not at all.In fact it's nothing but a mass manipulation.A lot of social media sites have lost their purpose and deviated greatly from it.Instead of keeping in touch with friends and family, now it incites you more to showcase your life like an idiot who has nothing better to do and it also leads to fakeness and others judging you by your photos.Others strive to gather as much likes and whatnot as possible. How stupid is that?! It's making them dumber and leads to major waste of time.Instead of spending some minutes to communicate a lot waste hours and it's like they are in some sort of competition. This is anything but evolution.Back to your question, maybe you should meet more people or get more closer to them and then you'll have more to talk to online.Or initiate contact yourself. But if it makes you feel better just turn off or delete all these apps from your phone and focus on your real life. It's more important than the one in your phone or virtual realm, contrary from what they might want you to believe. And it makes you feel empty because you are unable to feel any emotional connection through these means.
