It was much better I'd make a call n meet my boys and we'd talk face to face about things, we had more news for eachother as we hadnt heard all of it through facebook. I have noticed how life is more boring since facebook. Handy for meeting ladies though

It's really hard to remember life without the internet, even though I didn't have it until 2006. But I do remember life without social media, and I remember when Facebook was still a "new" thing.

Yes cool question.
When my wife went into labor I got a page (on a pager) and had to find a pay phone to call her sister.
I remember our first color TV, VCR, and tape recorder.
I remember my school getting its first Apple 2E's when I was in 8th grade.
When renting a movie a new release was hard to get because then store would have 1 copy that everyone wanted.
My 1st cell phone was in 1996 it was very expensive, and sucked!!!! It was for emergencies mostly.
In HS we had one phone on a cord in the kitchen. Kids had to fight for phone time. Then you were suck talking to a girl in the kitchen in front of people. When call waiting came out it was great!
People stopped by people house more often and just yelled from outside "Yo Tony" "Yo Mike" etc.. and they would come to the door.
Kid would go out and play from sun up until sun down without checking in.
