Hello,
I've heard that if you look at someone's Facebook profile a
lot you will show up in there "People you may know" even
if you don't share any friends. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true?

Thanks!

Yes.. It depends upon algorithm used by Facebook and it is change time by time.
basically Facebook suggest friends as per mutual friends between you and that user. If any user check your profile again and again then also Facebook will show you that people as Facebook think that person should be close to you or your friend.

Absolutely not. They just give you some suggestions- friends of friends, mutual friends OR search by email (I'm not sure about this one).
