Building apps in Facebook question?

I have a Facebook Page for my website and I want to build a canvas app for that page however when I go to the developers area and follow the instructions to build a new app I keep getting sent back to my page which doesn't have any links or settings to build a new app.

BTW - Its a facebook Page I have, not a fanpage

So how the hell does someone build a new app once they already have a page set up?
Rahul Raaz: Nope, that's one of the pages where I'm having the problem - Where it says:

"Start by visiting the "Developer App". If you haven't created an application before you will be prompted to add the Developer Application."

When I click the "Developer App" link it sends me back to my facebook page not to the page to develop an app. REALLY ANNOYING ME NOW!
