I'm having trouble changing my username on Facebook?

Click at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Account Settings
Click General in the left-hand column
Look for the setting Username and click Edit to the far right
Type your new username in the open field and click Save Change. I do all of these but when I get to the edit button nothing. I click edit but there's no box for me to put in my new username. Does anyone else have or had this same problem. Please let me know asap

Do you change your username often? Facebook doesn't really like it when users do that too often. I used to have the same problem. I recommend that you try again in a few days and, if that doesn't work, message them.

Seen as how you have now stated that you haven't changed it, maybe you are trying to change it to something completely different from your real name or maybe it's just a website issue. Try clearing your cache and then if it still doesn't work, contact Facebook.
