Facebook Account Help!?!?!?

So my mom added her email to my Facebook account. Is she able to get on my Facebook now? Even if I change the password? Is she gonna be able to change my password? Please just tell me what the point of adding an email to your Facebook account does if it seems pointless.

By adding e-mail to account, she'll be able to see when you get notifications, and sometimes messages, if you request to change your password, it will go through her email

She'll get e-mails with your FB notifications and messages. She could use her e-mail to log in to your facebook account too, but only if she has your password (which I presume she doesn't?)

First off: if it's email add of your mom, she can change the password of your FB at anytime she likes. But you will know it if she changed since your previous PW won't work anymore.
*With regards to notifications, you can reset the settings on your FB so that notifs won't land to her email address. Opt yourself for email notifs!
