Why is my laptop making beeping noises?
The past few days, I have noticed my computer making beeping noises. It comes from the speakers. Sometimes it's one beep, sometimes its like 'beep beepbeep beep'
I've read online and people say bios failure and motherboard and all of that. I've had this laptop about two months or more. It's a Gateway NE56R10u running windows 7. I've tried using chrome and firefox and opening up volume mixer and disabling the browser sounds. It still happens. It happens when I scroll on a page such as facebook, tumblr or even a regular web page. It's always when I'm scrolling using the mouse pad. I've looked in device manager and I don't see any exclamation points by anything. Can someone help me? Also, I looked up beeping noises on youtube and mine doesn't sound like that. It's almost like a pop up being blocked, but it's not. Ads |

It is still under warranty. Try to send out to your laptop provider to have a further test and fix what's wrong with your laptop.

1-3 beeps is possibly a memory error, which may be corrected by removing and reinstalling the memory module(s).Ring up Gateway support in your region, and they will probably get you to drop it off somewhere for servicing under warranty.
