I am a member of Facebook and I received a friend request and was invited to register with Facebook. The only way to accept the friend request is to register with Facebook and I am already registered. Is there another way to accept the friend request as a member of Facebook and not by registering again with Facebook?
NOw I just noticed underneath the register with facebook is the link do you already have an account login to add this email address. I added the email address to my old facebook email addressa and still I can't see the friend request in my facebook account.

sounds like phishing to me. someone is trying to gain your facebook login and password. the friend request should have gone right to your facebook account.

Those aren't usually from Facebook - those are spam that lead to fake sites in order to steal your information or infect your computer. DO NOT click on those links. If you already have a Facebook account, any legitimate friend request will show up when you go into Facebook. If it's not there, then it's not a real Facebook friend request. Every day I get at least 3 fake Facebook friend requests in my junk mail
