i prefer myspace. facebook is too plain. and all networking sites attract people from the "wrong side of the tracks" so to speak.

They both sück. It's all about data mining - turning everyone into consumers, crunching us down into numbers and charts so they can predict what we will buy and create advertising that specifically targets us. And all that personal information you put there--don't think it's private! That's all for sale to the highest bidder.

Facebook is more for University and college student, MySpace is for everyone, but I hardly know anyone who’s in school uses Facebook, on my facebook everyone was my University friends.

I like MySpace a little bit more than Facebook. I have both because a lot of my friends from college use Facebook and my friends from my high school and most of my relatives use MySpace. Facebook is sort fun now because of the applications.

Depends on what you're using it for...facebook's fine if your main goal is getting pics out into the WWW, but MySpace has a lot more things happening (if you're into short homemade flicks and new band intros, for instance)...of course, with the extra stuff on MySpace, the field is wide open for a lot of extra bull too, like the scammers and the spammers and jerks...just have a goal as to what the heck you want to use the connection for (after all, some folks are happy with just email, too) and use your head when dealing with strangers!
