Instagram banned me from following anyone?

I'm new to instagram and yesterday I followed 201 people but today and much of yesterday whenever I try to follow someone it just goes back to "follow" immediately. How can I stop this?

I agree that you probably would have been told if Instagram blocked you (if they even do block people)
