Sounds like something that arsewipe Gordon Ramsay would do, except he would lace his commentary with copious amounts of the F-word.

There are lots of dumb trolls in the world and even some who think they are vegan simply because of a dietary change. It is all just a waste of time and a waste of life. People say stupid things like that as a defense because they feel threatened by veganism or the false notion of what they believe veganism to be or what some non-vegan group calling themselves vegan has told people. They need to justify their own actions to themselves but they need to do it publicly to prove themselves and make themselves seem stronger and better in some way. Some part of them knows that veganism is the only path but they also don't want to stop exploiting animals so they have to find ways to make it seem like what they are doing is good or ok in some way even if nobody is actually attacking them personally.

As far as Hitler is concerned there is no debate needed, he wasn't vegetarian at all (eating meat is not vegetarian), the only debate is between useless trolls and some people who feel the need to debate trolls.

I try not to bother with idiots like you are describing my goal it to protect veganism more especially from vegetarians who want to take the word and make it mean just diet or make it into some wishy-washy B.S. I am more worried about those who want more vegans in name only than actual vegans that can go by the definition:
"The word 'veganism' denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to end the idea of animals as property and exclude all forms of intentional exploitation of, use of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing, research or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, including people and the environment.
In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."

nah, hes kind of a comedian, i find him pretty amusing most of the time and besides his co host sue is supposedly a vege, i say supposedly cos obviously she kinda picks and chooses when to be one for the show
but you know, if thats what he beleives, thats up to him, he would be a bit more closed minded than i thought, but im never surprised by that
