Preparing for a One Direction concert???
I'm going in 5 months and I want everything to be planned out.
What should I wear? What should I put on my poster? Should I record it? Is it possible to meet them without VIP tickets or backstage passes? If so, how? Do they still do twitter questions? If they do, what should I ask? What songs should I memorise? (I already know all the songs they've wrote but you never know) How can I get noticed? This is my first concert I've ever been too (not just one direction ) so I don't really know what it's going to be like. I've seen videos on YouTube though. Please don't comment rude things like "it's not worth it" etc... If you have time maybe check out my account on Instagram @camp_directionn_ only if you want too though Thanks! : ) Ads |

I went to one of their concerts earlier this year in June and they're very loud, it's especially bad if you sit in the back because you are so far you can barely see them and it's hard to see the screen. There are people everywhere you look.
In terms of what you wear, I guess it doesn't matter. You really don't need to go all out and wear something fancy. It also depends on the weather. Just wear a One Direction shirts and jeans with converse or something, I mean that's what I did and if you don't have a 1D shirt, just any other one you like. When I brought in my poster, those idiots confiscated it from me and threw it away. They wouldn't let me bring it into the concert which I thought was very absurd of them. I saw a lot of other fans with posters! If you're lucky enough to get your poster through the door and past the guards, try not to put anything too carroty or cheesy because someone did that and a bunch of fans were calling them a carrot. I'm not too big on the whole carrot thing but it does get annoying if everyone is shouting carrot at you. Maybe something simple like I LOVE ONE DIRECTION or something funny, that captures their attention if you sit on the floor. You can look up more ideas for funny signs but nothing too weird. Recording it would be a good idea to keep the memory, especially if you're a huge directioner like I am, recording it is a great idea. Yes, it is possible, although it is difficult as well. If you see them outside of their hotel or the arena you can, they usually stop for fans but I'd recommend not to if you see there are too many people mobbing them. You don't want to seem like one of those crazy fans. They get that all the time. They do answer Twitter questions and they actually answered mine at the concert I went to and they thought it was pretty funny even though it wasn't. I asked them about their funniest experience so far on the Take me Home tour and they seemed to like it. Ask something like that or something random you can think of. Getting noticed... well, whatever you do, do not start screaming your head off and jumping on stage. Trust me, that's embarrassing. You don't want to seem like one of those fans... you want to seem different from the other fans who do that. If you're sitting on the floor and want to get noticed, maybe by a sign... don't do anything too crazy or they'll just laugh at you, ha ha. And the songs you need to memorize, here is a list of the songs they'll be singing at the WHERE WE ARE TOUR 2014: Intro Best Song Ever Story of my Life Diana Torn (Cover) Stereo Hearts (Cover) Twitter Questions (That's NOT a song!) Strong Happily Right Now Truly, Madly, Deeply One Thing Little White Lies Kiss You Through the Dark You and I More Than This Something Great Better than Words What Makes you Beautiful Have fun ! |
