Why cant I find a person on Facebook?

Im trying to find a friend on facebook. I know she has one because she let me use it to try to figure this out. I type in her name and it wont show up. I go to web results and find her but when I click on it, it opens a new tab and says "This page was not found" and "You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive." and it does the same thing when i get on hers to find me. Please help!

Why can't I find someone in a search?

Here are a few of the reasons you might not be able to find someone using search:
1....Your friend isn't on Facebook yet. If you think this might be the case, send them an invite.
2....You're search isn't specific enough. Try filtering your search results.
3....The person you're looking for may have restricted their privacy settings or blocked you. Sometimes people forget that they've restricted their settings. If you still can't find one of your friends, ask them take a look at their privacy settings.
