Approaching a girl!!!!?

I met this girl a while back and I we are friends on Facebook. How do transition from talking on online to meeting again. We are practically strangers to each other. So how do I ask or do it without seeming too eager or creepy?
Keep in mind that I would like to be more than friends.

Ask her if she ever meetsw Facebook friends. If she says yes, or even if she just asks.. WHY? Tell her you would like to meet her for coffee or something some time. Take it from there.

If she is VERY not in to you or in to meeting people off facebook take the hint early and back off. It may feel like rejection but its really not any big deal. Most people are not compatible so best to know early on rather than later. Good luck.
