name some marketing strategies please??????

Not sure what the previous answer is all about...looks like an effort to sell products online. Marketing Strategies are the basic framework you work from to execute (get accomplished) a Marketing Objective which in turn, should come from an overall Marketing Plan. A Marketing Plan is developed to sell products and/or services. The Marketing Plan should consist (among other things) of product, pricing, distribution and promotion/marketing/sales elements. Then an overall marketing objective is developed such as "establish online and retail distribution network for my line of athletic shoes".

A Marketing Strategy would then describe the way you intend to get the Marketing Objective accomplished. Examples might include:

Ads in trade magazines.
Trade Show booth.
Online advertising on Google, Yahoo, Craigslist, etc.
Billboards around key retail outlet sites we want to sign-up for distribution.
Social networking on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.
