Astrology can explain why the 2000s sucks compared to other generations, right?
Those born between 1956-1971 (Generation Jones with Pluto in Virgo): The idealistic, self-improving, forward-looking, inventive, other-oriented generation interested in science, technology, healing, and world progress. They brought to us the 80s (colorful fashion, diverse music, new technology, etc.) and stressed the importance of fighting against the AIDS epidemic.

Those born between 1971-1984 (Generation X with Pluto in Libra): The impressionable, artsy, diplomatic, fair-minded, harmonious generation with the gift of compromise and a love of things that are beautiful and lasting. They brought to us the 90s, along with lighthearted, memorable family TV shows, sitcoms, comedies and cartoons, cell phones, pop music etc. Putting an emphasis on quality (on all things) and relations with others.

Those born between 1984-1995 (Generation Y with Pluto in Scorpio): My peers/my generation. *sigh* The POSSESSIVE, persevering, sexually/emotionally-driven, unconventional, rebellious generation with a tendency to provoke authority and test boundaries/limits, and with an interest in the occult, the mind, sex (as mentioned before), genetic engineering, cloning etc. Thus bringing us the 2000s...Which include things that focus on the /self/, the /advancement/ of the self, and the /expression/ of the self. For example, the emergence of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, MySpace, reality television shows promoting violence or aggressiveness), sexualized music and music videos, advanced technology that's meant to be a convenience to our personal, every day lives (Apple products, iPhones, iPads, Skype, Google hangout, Android phones, etc.) cures to diseases, the relentless fight for the legalization of gay marriage, war, economical issues, etc.

What do you guys think about this analysis?
I'm not mad at anyone.
I'm actually intrigued to learn about the fact that each generation is driven by something.
probably shouldn't have capitalized "possessive." Tongue
I only mentioned 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

And I can see why you'd think I'm glorifying those born in the 50s, 60s, 70s, etc...I actually spent more time researching Pluto in Scorpio. That's why it's a longer paragraph compared to the others. Smile
-.-

I'd like to see you try and come up with a better one.

It sounds like you're mad at the wrong people for the 2000s. You're also glorifying the people born in the 50s, 60s, and the 70s, while trying to turn a negative spin on the late 80s and 90s. I do agree with the positive things said about some of what you said but you're trying to turn the 50s/60s/70s into some sort of grand paradise of advancement when only half of it was. (The advancement part, not the paradise.)

Yes, I know it's a longer paragraph but that doesn't change that I think this analysis is bad. Every generation IS driven by something though.

My analysis being better would be subjective.

I agree we Scorpio plutos invented the technology like we know it now, no other generation would have had such interest in this like us, we made the media and technology, Ofc I don't mean we literally invented the internet, but if the 2000s would have belonged to let's say Taurus Plutos they might not have had that interest in such occult thing, probably they wouldn't have had that interest in publishing and bringing up to light what is in the dark, Scorpio Plutos created the 2000s and they built msn for us, YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, reality shows, sex implicit games and movies, lyrics, but now that's past our sagg Pluto brothers now own this decade traveling with all the networks we created on a simple phone, just like we needed the help of Libra Pluto 90s creations like mtv and laptops lol

can't wait for cap plutos to own the 20s lol making networking and technology just for practical purposes and less important bringing nature back

Astrology is a lie; the true and living God controls everything.

Not much. You've analyzed the world as though children were in charge from the time they're born. For example: "Those born between 1956-1971 (Generation Jones with Pluto in Virgo): The idealistic, self-improving, forward-looking, inventive, other-oriented generation interested in science, technology, healing, and world progress. They brought to us the 80s (colorful fashion, diverse music, new technology, etc.) and stressed the importance of fighting against the AIDS epidemic. "

Since AIDS was discovered during this time you might as well say they caused it and you would be just as correct. How does a person born in 1971 "bring to us the 80s?" A person born in 1956 would turn all of 24 in 1980 - 6 years from high school. They didn't bring anything. They went along for the ride.

Just to put this in perspective, do you know what group is in charge now, for the most part? The Baby Boomers and for those that are too old in that group to be in charge, their influence lives on. We are under the influence of the Pluto in Leo group. When the party is over, the Pluto in Virgo group will have to clean up the mess.

EDIT: On this Pluto whatever stuff. It's not valid. WHen Pluto is in Leo it is in Leo everywhere. Same is true for every other sign. What has been done by many astrologers is to simply project either American experience and/or Western experience on to some basic symbolism. China did not go through the same things in the 1980s as did Americans. The Same is true for India and the Middle East. Yet 100% of all people on Earth born between roughly (very roughly I'm not going to look it up) 1940 - 1960 have Pluto in Leo in their charts.

Each generation tends to have certain points of views that relate to the times and the events they experienced. Everyone of a similar age would have experienced the same events, or at least seen extensive coverage of them. The type of technology available during each generation would be an indicator of how each generation would behave. You likely will find patterns and trends within each age group. Some people can adapt to different generational beliefs and behaviors easier than others and in that case, they can be a bridge that connects different viewpoints together and makes newer ideas better by adding older ingenuity to create balance.

You haven't seriously done enough research on each group to be qualified to make these statements. I agree with Antares, who knows what he or she is talking about. That person could help guide you in your research, and how to start conducting it.

Not enough is known about Pluto, and the cycles have been very few to be analyzed. It's poppycock to be making assumptions about Pluto yet.
