Someone is claiming to be flipping money on Instagram.

$75-$750
$100-$1000
$200-$2000

So on & so forth. She has had her IG running for about 2 months now. I sent her the $75 just to see if it was legit. She ended up blocking me & taking my $75. Can the police do anything?
I'm not mad. It's just $75, but I don't want any others going through the scam. People are actually sending her $500.
I just want to know if the police can do anything about it?

Well.. it would probably be the only way to shut her down.

Take what info you have to the police and if that person isn't all the way in East Africa... they will arrest her. Chances are that the "person" you think you dealt with was fake too and you sent money to a scammer clear across the Globe.
