Blog, RSS Feed, Twitter, Socialize, Tumblr etc?

What is Blog, Twitter, Socialize and Tumblr??
I know what is Facebook and i use it. I heard that Twitter is same like Facebook.
I don't really understand what exactly is Blog so can you please explain what it is it and what exactly to do in it? Is there a website for it? I also don't even know what is Tumblr and Socialize but i know the website. I also don't know what is RSS Feed and is there a website for it?

Blog short for Web-Log is an online diary platform of sorts that allows you to create content without any coding. There are many free blog hosts and similar social platforms that may exploited for marketing purposes, some crate pages just as sources of search rank boosting links to their main site.


RSS: Real Simple Syndication is a way for content or summaries to be remotely accessed, other sites can show the latest activity on your site by inserting an RSS feed display on their page. This can be a powerful promotion tool, the Wordpress blog platform is one example with built in RSS feeds. Tumblr appears to be a blogging platform as are Google Blogger and Wordpress.com. I see there is some commercial cell phone app product called Socialize, though I'm guessing you were reffing to social sites, sometimes also called web 2.0 sites and relate activities.

A lot of questions in one but as for RSS feeds I can help you with that, RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a very powerful marketing tool that squashes email marketing because of everything that can be done with RSS feeds that can not be done with email like including audio (podcast) or video, rss has no spam filters other then your subscribers..
