I recently married someone on Facebook but it hasn't came up on our timeline for some reason? It only shows in our 'about me' section, why is that?

The same thing happened to me. For some reason whoever posted it will make it appear in both timelines but not if you look for it. In other words your friends will see it but not you. I'm not sure what's up with that but Facebook is a lame site anyway.
