How do I make a Facebook Group? Help!?

I've been trying hard to make a GROUP for something instead of a page, I really like how with groups you can invite all your friends and the people that like the group can invite all their friends... I want to make a group that looks like this --> http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=133436613347766
I know on the home page there is an option to make a group.. but I don't think it's the same thing?? Help!!
