Can the NSA hack into your computer?
I asked this question before but the people who answered did not seem to understand the situation i was in so i tried to add additional details and it appears YA is glitching at the moment so i thought it would be better to post it all here: (Only read on if you want, it's not important but it would probably help you understand what information i need to know exactly, since i am absolutely clueless on the NSA and google is no help)

I'm not their biggest fan, and i didn't even know it till today.
I've investigated a few cases, that involved conspiracies/lying in the media and i stored it in my laptop, i searched everything of it online and made a large word document containing evidence and information, suspicously my laptop broke, due to a hardrive failure from a virus i managed to pick up online despite having a very good anti-virus. I thought it was all a bit coincidental considering my recent activities, but i actually didn't care and just thought "oh well" and then not surprisingly my ipod broke later on, it completely disconnected and wouldn't connect to my itunes, i'd lost all evidence and frankly i didn't care, i had only investigated these cases to give me a wider view on the world so i could understand it better. In fact, it gave me a great insight on what to trust and not what to trust and how you should watch things that are said, rather than let yourself be brainwashed.
However, i was concerned, i'd noticed that the tweets, the PRIVATE facebook posts i had made and the tumblr tagged posts regarding the case had disapeared, not all of them, but some of them.
This all happened in the space of 3 days. And i've never really thought about it until i found out about these "nsa" people.
I was on a comment section on Youtube and i said something about the group Anonymous being "not all bad, what's the big fuss with them?" and someone informed me that the "Nsa" were coming to "pay me a visit".
Of course not, was my original thought because they are an American based group and would not bother to come and get me when they probably don't even have a right too, and from just a small comment? This is what reminded me about my past events regarding similar things (the investigating on my laptop, and how it had suspiciously broken), if they would come and "find me" from just a small statement, what did they do about my documents? (Hack into my computer maybe to prevent me from posting them anywhere?) As i say, i am absolutely clueless and i only got this information from 3 or so people on Youtube who informed me that they in fact would do something about that comment (apparently)

P.s If i had posted the information and it had been noticed anywhere, it would have possibly been somewhat a threat not specifically directed at anyone but they would have seen it as an indirect stab at how News+ government deals with situations I GUESS? (It's not like i knew i was doing it i was just asking questions and being curious and quite frankly getting annoyed at the amount of lies that i had actually led myself to believe in the past.) Oh and ps ps, this was all almost a year ago now.

Sorry if this is written badly i'm kind of in a rush and i felt the need to write that because of the responses i got when i didn't explain myself.
Keith - Oh well then it was definitely that then...
I forgot to mention something very very important oops:
At the time they WERE tracking the tags and everything to do with the case on social media!
It was important at the time and you obviously didn't read my question
Fro. What I've read online and have been told they are around to deal with the exact thing that I was "doing" (i mentioned several times that I'm only goo g by sources, how could I possibly know I was not of importance, and now I remember that there was actually a big thing at the time how they were tracking things and watching what people saying.
There's a lot more to it but I'm in a situation where I can't explain it .

Of course, but they are only scanning for terrorist related words and phrases. They don't give a hoot about anything else.

What makes you think you are so important the would take any notice of anything you say. Before you waste any more time investigating anything for a "wider view", I suggest you get a wider view of how to use a computer. The kind of infections you are talking about are the kind you get from careless browsing, not reading correctly the messages during downloads or installs, and following links people send you. Most likely the people you upset enough to make them try to scare you with this junk sent you an email or posted a link to cause it.
