Soo I know that our privacy affetcs our chances of being hired in a job. Like recruiters check your Facebook account to see what type of person you are..

I also know that our friends can simply check on the Ticker box to dig in to our recent posts and updates now matter how often we tend to hide what our friends can see what we post. They can observe who we are without getting to know us in person if you know what I mean.

Last but not least, for the graph search on Facebook, stalkers can find our names and see which schools we go to, our home address , phone numbers, and more.

Soo I stated 3 reasons how the internet affects our privacy. Sorry if my sentences dont seem to be clear, but please correct me on my statements if I'm wrong. So question is, how does internet privacy affect us?

Privacy as you think of it has been eroding since the 90's (if not earlier). Search engine results are tailored to the individual. There's a really good TED talk on that topic: https://www.ted.com/talks/eli_pariser_be...bbles.html

Advertising companies collect the most information about you to market their products more successfully. There was a news story a while back with Target figuring out that a woman was pregnant, purely based on her purchases. I recommend you read that as well: http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/...ather-did/
