I Need help on my persuasive speech (about social media use) Need help!?

Its 3 paragraphs, first of all, im not asking for someone to do my work for me... but can someone think of a hook, attention getter (first sentence) for the intro paragraph? thanks! (btw im in 8th grade.)
Actually, my bad, its about media use. as in video games, television, and why its bad to use them too much. sorry.

it depends what youre trying to persuade. what are you saying about social media? that its good for you? bad for you?

your best option is to start it off with an eye popping statistic. for example, you could say 'over two million people log onto socia media websites every day' (of course, youll have to do your research and get an actual number instead of two million. thats only from the top of my head and im sure many more people log on than that)
