Facebook privacy settings helpp?

there are some friends i have on facebook who i don't want to be able to see some of the things i post. i don't want to unfriend/block them because we're "friends" in real life. complicated relationship, don't ask, but it would be reallyy bad if they found out i deleted them. so how do i do that? ugh facebook's new settings confuse me :/ btw, how do i make it so you can only see my name, profile pictures, and mutual friends if you're not my friend on facebook?

Go to http://www.facebook.com and click on privacy settings. the second thing there will say "Control your default privacy" click on that and click custom. Then you can choose who can see what on your profile. You can set it so everyone can see the things on your profile, or you can click on "hide from specific person" so you can stop those certain people from viewing some things.
