feature that invites a users facebook friends onto my webiste?

i have a small website and a friend told me that I could generate traffic by letting existing users invite friends through facebook. This means that there would be ONE button, the user clicks it, then all their facebook friends would be invited to my website.

Is this possible? If not, where am I misinformed?

Yes......sort of.

You have to create a group on facebook first. When you do, then yes, there is a single button you can press that invites all your friends to the group.

The reason why I said "sort of" was because if you invite people to a group, it won't direct you your website, just the group on facebook. You would have to place a link to your website in the group for people to access it.

There are two ways you can do this, but both ways does not directly invite people to your site. One, you can create a group, and write a description about your group in description box, that way people can know about your site.


Or you can create a fan page for your site. AKA as a facebook page. http://stjohns.facebook.com/ads/

Both ways will allow you and your friends to know about this site, and other facebook users also.
