Retail Website struggling to get Traffic/Sales?
I set up my own Online Homewares Business in October and I've really struggled to actually get much traffic to my website and therefore only had one sale. I have a Business Facebook page, I've submitted my site to the likes of Google/Bing etc. I pretty much done all the optimisation I can think of. Does anybody have any other suggestions that might help?

Try some creative advertising and look at the 7 ps, a lot will not apply but it will give you an idea of advertisement although please remember the economy is bad

Retail has been going under for years..try a facebook page and get some flyers done and leave them all over the place where you live..it's going to be a struggle but make sure you're on Amazon, ebay...everything.

You could do pay per click campaigns via google and set how much you're willing to pay to attract visitors... Or pay for advertisement on facebook! It does work ive tested it in the past. Also your website is only 4months old, when you've had it longer than 6 months search engines start to push your rank up. New websites get little exposure in the beginning... Be patient!! You'll get there i'm in the same position
