Lots of emails about account security?
Over the past few days i have gotten a ton of emails from twitter amazon and others saying
At Amazon we take your security and privacy very seriously. As part of our routine monitoring, we discovered a list of email address and password sets posted online. While the list was not Amazon-related, we know that many customers reuse their passwords on several websites. We believe your email address and password set was on that list. whtas going on? Ads |

Probably a scam. If they had these lists on their websites, they probably would have sent emails to confirm who they belonged to. Or they would have called the FBI.

This isn't a scam. Yahoo had a security issue and hackers obtained 400,000 emails an passwords and posted them online. Any services you have from Amazon, Twitter, etc. where you have used the same user name and password combo are proactively securing your account.
