Family member deleted me from Facebook! Do you confront them or forget it?
I feel somewhat childish for even giving this a second thought but it has really been bothering me. A few weeks before Christmas my Uncle (who I considered myself close to) got into it with my Mom (his sister) and I guess he deleted my entire family from his "friends" on Facebook. We found this out because since then my Mom's other brother has been admitted to the hospital due to a serious accident and we haven't seen the updates and when I checked it out it asks if I want to send a friend request. I am honestly very sad that he felt it necessary to do such a thing. It is not so much that it is "Facebook" but the principle of the whole situation. I am currently 2 yrs out from being diagnosed with breast cancer and he always had kind words to say to me on my updates to everyone on my condition and trust me when you are going through something like that you need all the encouragement you can get. I guess, I just know that when he made that decision it was a thought out process on his part because he is one who posts all the time. Part of me is mad, yet the other part is hurt. I feel like it would be petty for me to say anything. I have been very lucky to have friends, family & complete strangers support me & my kids over the past few years while I have been fighting! I just didn't know if anyone else has gone through a situation like this and if it's just best to let it settle on its own or confront it?

You have to ask yourself why... then address the reason. Demanding that someone keep you as a friend is foolish. If you want someone to be in your life you have to be someone they WANT in their life.

I would just let it go and try not to take it so personal, even though I'm sure it's difficult. He was just upset and decided to act in the moment and delete everyone. A lot of times people do that just because they are temporarily upset and just act on that feeling. I'm sure he will eventually come back and ask you to be his friend again when he realizes how petty this all was. I would be hurt too!

Good Luck and I hope everything works out!

Let it go. It is his loss not yours. Just be grateful for the support you are receiving.
