How to you add faces to your tweets?

I'm new to twitter and was just wondering how you put the emotions in your tweets, like just a big smile, sad face, dancing girl, penguin etc...

twitter isn't like facebook so there isn't an "emoticon" toolbar. if you want emoticons, you can either tweet from mobile and use those emojis or copy+paste them off the internet, for example from here: http://www.grumdrig.com/emoji-list/
