Is facebook safer than myspace????

My mom isn't convinced facebook is safer but I really want one. I', noy even sure if it is. I really want one though.

facebook is safer. i have both myspace and facebook, and some of the advertisements on myspace is ugh. so i suggest u get a facebook. it's a lot easier than myspace to get used to! happy facebooking! =)

i dont think so, because you can make your profile private on both of them. plus on facebook, you cant erase what ppl write on your wall, you have to live with it.

Facebook is a lot more safer than MySpace

but theirs still things that could be done to make it more safer.

They both are stalker haven but, facebook is much safer. Facebook is a place for people you actually know or meet. Myspace is just cybering whoring add the most people possible. Example on Facebok I have 600+ friends and Myspace I have 2000+. No one can view your page on facebook either unless they are your friend, plus not as much spam and phishing possibilities because the HTML source code is limited where myspace's isn't.

ya it is 100% safer. But myspace all you have to do is put it on a safe mode and it is just as fine as face book as long as you don't put weird pics or ask strangers to be friends...
