How do I control what appears under my photo on one of my posts on my public page?
The best answer when I asked this, in a different format, this afternoon, did not give enough information. I am happy that the public see that I did my postgraduate study at the University of Queensland, but I haven't worked there for 18 years, so don't want that name to appear under my photo. How do I chose something else in my profile, or ,better still, write something?

go to fb timeline via pc. Click about(below your profile pic), it ll take u to info section. under education section, click the required university, edit it and uncheck 'Graduated'. Moreover if u want to hide the university name from ur friends, simply set privacy to 'only me' or delete the university entry.

From your timeline profile go to about then go to the edit section where you want to edit the information. From there you can control settings who can see your details through custom visibility preferences. Select only me or friends as per your requirement.
